Alexander Hleb's chances of debuting for Birmingham City this weekend took a blow when he was ruled out with a leg injury.
The 29-year old Barcelona loanee sustained the injury whilst on international duty for Belarus against Romania on Tuesday and will not take his place in the Blues' clash with Liverpool at St Andrews.
"His injury is not too serious but Hleb said to me that he definitely would be unable to play on Sunday," said Belarus coach Bernd Stange.
The former Arsenal winger is on a season-long loan with Birmingham.
