Injury crisis wearing Everton boss down

Everton boss David Moyes has admitted that the injury crisis at Goodison Park is beginning to wear him down. The Toffees are preparing for a trip to Bolton on Sunday in the wake of their 5-0 thrashing in the Europa League at the hands of Portuguese side Benfica.

Moyes had 11 players unavailable for the European game in the Estadio da Luz and Russian playmaker Diniyar Bilyaletdinov came off with a thigh injury during the match.

"The injuries are beginning to drag me down," Moyes said. "It is just beginning to weigh on us. "We are looking forward to getting a positive result though against Bolton. We know it will be hard but hopefully we will have one or two back in the squad."
