Injured Chelsea pair Terry, Cole to be monitored

Chelsea have released an injury update on crocked veterans John Terry and Ashley Cole.

Skipper Terry has not played since the FA Cup win over QPR on January 28 after initially injuring his knee earlier that month whilst Cole was replaced by Ryan Bertrand in the 77th minute of Saturday’s 2-0 loss at Everton with a calf problem.

Terry trained for 30 minutes today before heading into the gym and will do more work ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup meeting with Birmingham City whilst Cole has bruising of the calf and will be monitored this week.
