Aston Villa's James Milner has replaced the injured Michael Carrick for England's upcoming world Cup qualifiers.
The Manchester United midfielder's foot injury is enough to keep him out of the squad that flies out on Wednesday for the clash with Kazakhstan on Saturday and Andorra next week.
Milner has been called up from the England U21 squad.
