Andres Iniesta is close to agreeing new terms with Barcelona.

Despite contact with Manchester United, Punto Pelota says Iniesta will agree a deal before Christmas to make him the second highest paid player at Barca behind Lionel Messi.

The midfielder has let it be known that his wish is to retire a Barca player, though also has warned he won't allow negotiators to take advantage of his stand.
