Ingolstadt striker Buddle to trial at Everton

Edson Buddle has been offered a trial by Everton it has been revealed.

The 30-year old Ingolstadt striker will head to Goodison Park this week so Toffees boss David Moyes can run the rule over him in a bid to bolster his attacking line.

Buddle’s agent, Richard Motzkin, today confirmed the news on Twitter.

"For those asking, my client Edson Buddle will be on trial this week at Everton FC,” he wrote.

USA international Buddle, who has scored six goals in 17 appearances in Germany, will join former LA Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan, who is on loan, on Merseyside.
