On-loan Fulham midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong insists he simply wants to make his own name at Arsenal.
The 21-year old is currently spending time developing his game with Fulham but has made it clear that he wants to become an Arsenal star.
Frimpong has been compared to Barcelona's Alex Song and admits he was influenced by former skipper Patrick Vieira but says he just wants to be him.
"Arsenal are my parent club and I'm still contracted to them so I will be going back at the season's end but this is football and you never know," he told Goal.com.
"Alex Song and myself are different individuals and as such I want to be known as the new Frimpong and not by another player's name.
"A lot of players influenced me when I was developing my football talent but I will say that Patrick Vieira influenced me the most."
