Influence of ex-Man Utd skipper Keane good for Aston Villa - N'Zogbia

Aston Villa winger Charles N'Zogbia has lauded the influence of assistant manager Roy Keane.

The former Manchester United captain and current Republic of Ireland assistant joined Paul Lambert's coaching staff this past summer and so far has made a very positive difference to things at Bodymoor Heath according to Frenchman N'Zogbia.

"Yes he is good. He has taken to us at training," N'Zogbia told the Birmingham Mail.

"He does a lot of watching us train. Sometimes when it is not good enough he tells us we have to keep working more and harder.

"That is good for us and for the young players to have him there to make sure we focus on what we have to do.

"Roy Keane has been playing many years at the top level in the Premier League.

"He is an elite player so you have to learn from him to ensure you perform well."
