DC United are set to hand a trial to Indonesian young gun Andik Vermansayah according to reports.
The highly-rated 20-year old attacking midfielder will reportedly leave his homeland on Friday to link up with the Washington club for training.
The opportunity has come courtesy of United's new part-owner, Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir, although DC are yet to confirm the trial.
Vermansayah has been named as one of 10 young Asian players to watch in 2012 and has received high praise from LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena and Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni after recent matches the Indonesian league XI competed in.
