Indonesian FA president Djohar Arifin Husin has publicly thanked Erick Thohir for buying Inter Milan.
Indonesian billionaire Thohir bought 70 per cent of Inter last week.
"Thanks to Erick, who had the courage to buy Inter Milan, there will be a big impact for Indonesia," declared Husin.
"I am not an expert, but Erick seemed optimistic. There could be opened an academy here in Indonesia so that the best talent can then have the opportunity to go to Inter."
