Indonesian billionaire Erick Thohir admits he's been talking with Inter Milan about investment for two months.

Thohir spoke to local media after the annual general meeting of his Viva Media company in Jakarta.

"If you ask me to comment on the negotiations in place with Inter, then I cannot talk about it. The matter is complicated and still on-going.

"It could last another month or two, without necessarily meaning it will reach a successful conclusion.

"I really can't say anything, as the talks are proceeding. If you want me to talk about it, then it means you hope the negotiations will fail."
