India and Pakistan will play a three-match series in England, starting August 25, reports the AFC official website. The teams are scheduled to play in Manchester, Coventry and London.
All India Football Federation (AIFF) President Praful Patel said: "Playing Pakistan is always special. It's a positive sign that we will play a bilateral football series against Pakistan. I'm sure all sporting fans are eagerly looking forward to it."
This is the first-time ever that India would be playing a three-match series against Pakistan in a neutral venue. The last time the two nations were involved in a three-match series was in 2005 in Pakistan.
