Independiente striker German Denis has urged Torino to make a new bid for him at the end of the season.

The former Cesena centre-forward revealed: "In January, Torino tried to sign me for little money, but the Granata club seduced me and I hope that they buy me in the summer.

"I'm ready, I said to my chairman: 'In July let me leave here', I hope that (president) Urbano Cairo is still thinking of me.

"I can assure Torino fans of my fierce commitment and many goals: I want to be decisive as Gabriel Batistuta, my idol."
