Incoming Manchester United boss David Moyes says he plans to take a short break before kicking off his new career.
Moyes is still coming to terms with the fact he will now be living life in football’s biggest fish bowl.
Yet before he takes command at Old Trafford, he plans to take a break — as hard as it may prove, given the size of club he is about to walk in to.
Moyes said: “I don’t officially start with United until July 1, so I’ll go on holiday. It’s not going to affect what I do now — I’m trying to concentrate on Everton.
“I’m in a little bit of a difficult position at the moment.
“But I have to completely respect Everton. I’ve a job to do preparing the team for Sunday, then after that it’s a little bit less demanding.”
