Manchester City are believed to be showing significant interest in Barcelona defender Marc Bartra.
According to the Daily Mirror, incoming City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to reunite with the 25-year-old centre-back who he worked with at Camp Nou.
Guardiola handed Bartra his first-team debut for the Catalan giants when he was a teenager and it is understood that the current Bayern Munich manager is eager to again work with the six-time Spain international.
Barcelona want around £9million for Bartra, who has been watch by Manchester United and Tottenham Hotsour, plus a buy-back clause in his contract.
