Rafa Benitez only wants one of his former Liverpool players to join him at Inter Milan.

That's the opinion of former Napoli sports director Pierpaolo Marino, who has been observing the Spaniard's move to Inter closely.

Marino told TMW: "It didn't take long for Inter to replace Jose Mourinho with Benitez, though some of his staff still need to be appointed.

"Benitez has asked for only one player from (Inter president Massimo) Moratti, that of Mascherano, who will take charge of Inter's nerve centre, a lavish complement for the strongest team in Europe.

"The other movements, as a whole and as it should be, will come from (Inter chief) Marco Branca."
