Incheon United's North determined to leave Korea

Jade North is worried he may have to stay in the K-League as he believes he may not be able to leave before the transfer deadline early next week. The Australian international is currently frozen out of Incheon United's squad and does not see his fortunes improving so is keen to move on but fears internal politics will see his wish not allowed.

"I played three games in a row for Incheon after returning from international duty against Japan (in June) and things were going well," he said.

"But for some reason I haven't even been in the squad in the past five weeks and it's now just a matter of keeping myself fit and trying to get a move."

27-year old North is keen to remain playing regular first team football so his Socceroos World Cup chances are not harmed.

"Everybody knows this is a vital time for all the Australian boys and it's crucial I'm playing regularly," he added.

"In fairness my situation is not down to the coach at Incheon, there are other things happening behind the scenes which are preventing me getting a look in.

"I came here to play regularly at a good level, and that's not happening any more. I've been happy with how I've done when I've played but it goes without saying I need regular football.

"You come back from the national team full of confidence only to find you can't even make the squad in a K-League team."
