Paul Ince is expected to take his MK Dons assistant manager Ray Mathias with him to Blackburn Rovers.

Rovers have opened compensation talks with MK Dons over Ince and the Daily Mail says he will take his experienced No 2 Mathias, the former Tranmere and Wigan manager, to Ewood Park.

Their partnership landed the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Wembley last season as well as promotion to League One.
