Thomas Ince scored his first goal in only his second game for Liverpool U18 in yesterday's 5-2 victory over Plymouth Argyle.

Ince, son of former Reds skipper Paul, played on the right wing and enjoyed a 45 minute run-out as the young Reds played some superb football.

Summer recruit, German striker Christopher Buchtmann came off the bench to make his debut in the second half and hit the final goal to mark an impressive first appearance.

Reds coach Hughie McAuley told "It was good for Thomas and Christopher to score their first goals for us and we played some really good attacking football."
