Blackpool boss Paul Ince is heeding advice from his former Manchester United gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ince is enjoying management again in tandem with Seasiders chairman Karl Oyston.
He told the Daily Star: "I'm still here. And my son is still here, too. As much as the chairman is a pain in the a***, when you look at his record he has only sacked one manager in 20 years.
"He won't give me everything I want or need but one thing he will do is stand back to back with me.
"Sir Alex, my old boss, always said to me it's not about the club, it is the chairman. If you go to the right club with the right chairman, you've got the chance of longevity in the game.
"It would be nice to enjoy some stability and stay at a club two or three years."
