Sporting Lisbon director Augusto Inacio says they're prepared to lose William Carvalho this summer.
Manchester United and Chelsea are in contact for Carvalho this week and while referring both Premier League giants to the player's buyout clause, Inacio insists Sporting can afford to lose the Portugal international.
"Negotiations are not always easy, you have to be really sharp. But fortunately Sporting has a president who knows how to negotiate and what is best for this club.
"Are we concerned about the departure of Carvalho? No, we have plenty of alternatives available.
"They also all want to play."
