Improvement is the key for Shanghai Shenhua

Shanghai Shenhua are slowly improving as the season goes on and will need to improve further to get a positive result against group leaders Suwon Bluewings.

After a brilliant win in the Chinese Super League against reigning champions Shandong Luneng on the weekend, Shanghai are taking some great form into a match against a team who are struggling domestically.

"I was under heavy pressure after several woeful performances, but my team are getting better and better as we have played more as a team. I now believe we have a bright future," said Shanghai coach Jia Xiuquan.

"There are lot of difficult games looming this year, but we don't want to look too far ahead right now, we just have one goal at this time, to beat Suwon.

"We have made up our minds to play our best football against Suwon. Our focus is on the upcoming ACL game. It is a crucial match and could be a key to success this season."
