Asier Illarramendi was delighted to make his Real Madrid debut in their friendly win at Bournemouth.

Real were comfortable 6-0 winners at Dean Court.

"I have been welcomed, I'm very happy. It was the first match, the pace needs to be picked up a little, but for the first time out, the truth is that it went pretty well," said Illarramendi.

"I concentrate on playing, I have very good people around me and I am very happy to play with them. I still have a long way to go to get into the starting team which is very difficult in a team like this, but I'll try."
