Nikica Jelavic was in the goals again for Rangers as they remained nine points clear at the top of the SPL table with a 2-0 away win at Heart of Midlothian.
The Croatian came off the bench to net his sixth of the season in the 74th minute to wrap up proceedings at Tynecastle after Steven Naismith's first half goal and his performance was lauded by 'Gers boss Ally McCoist as he was in doubt due to illness prior to the match.
"He did really well because on Friday and Saturday morning to be honest I didn't think he had any chance of appearing at all," McCoist said.
"But he has great spirit and he wanted to come and give himself an opportunity.
"He came to the hotel last night and we locked him away and he got up in the morning and he felt that he could give us something from the bench. And did he not just do that."
