Sheffield United have won the race for Ilkeston sensation Che Adams.
Adams has been highly sought after from clubs in the Premier League, Championship and League One, but the Evo Stik Premier Division outfit say they have agreed a deal with Nigel Clough's side for the talented 18-year-old.
A stunning 45 scouts were present to watch in Ilkeston's last home game.
A statement on Ilkeston's website reads: "The two clubs have agreed not to disclose the fee for the 18-year-old midfielder but the deal includes a substantial up-front payment in non-league terms - plus a percentage of any sell-on fee.
"The Robins had already rejected numerous offers before agreeing terms with United although as chairman Dave Mantle said, it was only a matter of time before a deal was done."
Robins boss Kevin Wilson told the club's website: "It's a relief that it has finally been sorted because there's no doubt that all the activity and speculation has been a disruptive influence around the place.
"But I'm absolutely delighted for Che and we all wish him well in his future career. He's a great advert for our Academy scheme. He's worked hard for this chance and we'll watch his progress with great interest."
