Porto have joined the battle for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

Dzeko is the subject of intense interest from Roma, with Francesco Totti and Miralem Pjanic both talking up the prospect of a deal this week in Melbourne.

However, Record says Porto are making a late move to convince Dzeko about a switch to Portugal.

Porto have cash available after selling Jackson Martinez to Atletico Madrid this month.

The Lisbon giants already boast Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas on their books.
