Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has warned his side that inconsistency will see them drop right out of the title race.
The Blues have won just twice in seven outings so far this season as they sit 14th on the Premier League table following a poor start to their title defence.
On Saturday, Chelsea drew 2-2 with Newcastle United after falling two goals behind and Mourinho has indicated that his team better snap out of their current mindset if they want to avoid falling to mid-table or below.
"They fight and want to improve, but we have some players I want more from," he said.
"I look for consistency. If we don't find it, we become a Newcastle. Everyone knows when Newcastle play Chelsea they play amazingly well but against other teams, not so well. This happens with most of the teams whose objective is to stay between eighth and 16th in the league.
"They win today, draw tomorrow, three points here, one point there. But when you want to be a big team and to win you have to be consistent in your attitude."
