The agent of new Inter Milan signing Mauro Icardi feels his departure from Barcelona has now been justified.

Icardi quit Barca for Sampdoria three years ago and is now looking forward to the new season with Inter.

"The farewell from Barcelona? We conducted a study on the future of Mauro and about what might be the best solution and we decided to leave Catalonia for his development," Abian Morano told TMW.

"Their style of play would not have been the best for him."
