Manchester United will extend striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic's one-year contract by a year, reports BBC Sport.
The 35-year-old former Sweden international joined on a free transfer in the summer, with the option of extending his deal for a second year.
He has scored eight goals in 17 games in all competitions this season.
"We are going to execute the option of a second season," said manager Jose Mourinho. "After that he can do what he wants."
