Famous Swedish scout Bjorn Andersson admits Bayern Munich came close to signing PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Andersson says he identified his fellow Swede back in 2001 and recommended him to Bayern.
"I followed him closely a number of times, but he was too pricey for Bayern Munich.
"He was so young when we wanted him and then (ex-Malmo sports director) Hasse Borg demanded a lot of money.
"At that time, Bayern Munich did not want to pay those sums for a junior. I mean, Ajax bought him for a lot of money," Andersson told viasatsport.se.
