Zlatan Ibrahimovic says luck did not evade Manchester United on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils created chance upon chance against Hull City at Old Trafford, particularly in the second half, but had to settle for a 0-0 draw.
Asked if United were unlucky, Ibrahimovic told MUTV that creating enough chances but missing them is simply not a case of luck.
"Today was not about luck," Ibrahimovic said.
"If you don't play good and you get a half chance and score maybe it is more about luck. But today we had great chances where we could have scored and we didn't finish good enough, and that happens."
Next on the agenda for United is Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday and Ibrahimovic is targeting maximum points so they can continue moving towards the top four.
He added: "We have many more games left to go and we will do our best, obviously, to try to get in the position where the future looks good for the club and that is by playing in the Champions League."
