"Milan started the game well and more brightly than ourselves," noted the Nerazzurri striker. "But we then improved to illustrate that we are a better team than they are.

"We have really been excellent over the last six months and we must mirror that in the second half of the season and in the Champions League."

Ibrahimovic has been Inter's key man so far this term, but the inspirational Swede failed to get on to the scoresheet against the Diavolo.

"I didn't score, but Julio Cruz and Esteban Cambiasso put the ball in the back of the net," added the former Juventus player.

"In all honesty, it doesn't matter if I score for Inter or not. The most important thing is for the side to keep winning."
