Zlatan Ibrahimovic has played down his alleged attempt to hurt Seamus Coleman on Sunday.
The Manchester United striker was accused of trying to kick the Everton defender in the head at Goodison Park, however, the 35-year-old Swede denied any attempt at harm or malice.
"It was a physical game," he told MUTV.
"They played hard. I heard one of the commentators say I kicked someone in the head on purpose, but it was a 50-50 duel and he pulled me down.
"Trust me, if I want to kick someone in the head, I know how to kick someone in the head and make him fall asleep. That is the only thing I have to say."
Ibrahimovic, who scored United's goal with a classy lob, became a back belt in taekwondo at the age of 17.
