Vincenzo Iaquinta has dismissed talk of Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri being under pressure. It emerged yesterday that Juve's board were considering alternatives after an underwhelming start to the season by Ranieri's team.
But Iaquinta, who struck twice in the midweek draw with Champions League rivals BATE Borisov, said: "No, nobody should feel threatened. We are only at the beginning of the season, the goals will flow again.
"In some games we also had the misfortune not to finish the opportunities created, but then, however, this is the world of football.
"Just remember (AC Milan coach) Carlo Ancelotti, who is always criticized but then managed to win another Champions League two years ago. So Ranieri can stay calm."
