Roma midfielder Iago Falque admits the locker room is eyeing a title challenge.

Roma sent a signal to the rest of Serie A with victory over Juventus.

“A victory like this gives you more confidence, though at the end of the day it is only the second round of the season," Falque told Il Tempo newspaper.

“It was important to show we are in good shape and ready for whatever comes next.

“It's still early days and not a decisive result, but we sent a strong signal that we are a team capable of doing very well."
