Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is keeping a close eye on the development of his teammate Jordon Ibe.

The 26-year-old has revealed that he has taken the youngster under his wings and is working on a daily basis with him in a bid to continue his improvement at senior level.

"I've got a lot of love for him, I've taken him under my wing," Sturridge told Soccer AM.

"When I was his age, I didn't necessarily have a player who would have me every single day, push me and make me improve as a footballer. That's what I try to do with him."
