Gianfranco Zola says he learnt the tricks of the trade whilst with Napoli before stamping himself on the world stage when he played for Chelsea.
The 45-year old former Italy striker joined Napoli from Torres as a 23-year old in 1989 before moving to Parma in 1993 and then onto Chelsea in 1996.
Zola spent the better part of seven years at Stamford Bridge and he feels it is there where he became a household name like former teammate Diego Maradona.
"At Chelsea, where I arrived when I was 30, I received a fantastic welcome and was given a fame and notoriety on a worldwide level.""I arrived at Napoli a boy and watched and learned the secrets of Diego and (Brazilian striker) Careca," said the Zola.
