Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has stated that he shares a similar mentality to manager Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool have enjoyed a turnaround since the appointment of Klopp in October and Lovren has also put in much-improved performances upon the arrival of the German at Anfield.
The Croatian centre-back has now gone on to credit Klopp for helping him get back to his best and believes that he shares a similar mentality with the 48-year-old.
Lovren, who lived in Munich from the age of three until he was 10, told the Daily Express that Klopp's personality has been a major positive of him to flourish following a difficult beginning on Merseyside following his move from Southampton in 2014.
"It depends on people who manage you well. In the time, since Jurgen has come things have changed a lot," he said.
"I changed also because I really like his work. This pressing and, I would say, the need to be always 100% ready (Lovren punches his hand to illustrate) for the fight in the training and in matches.
"I spent my first seven years growing up in Germany and maybe I have a bit of that mentality."
