I have been at Man City so long I have seen Zabaleta age – Hart

Joe Hart has stated that he is not ready to end his decade-long association with Manchester City anytime soon.

Hart joined City from Shrewsbury Town during the summer of 2006 and along with the likes of Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta, the goalkeeper has been the foundation upon which the Citizens have built their success over the past few years.

The England international has now gone on to reveal that he is not looking to leave the Etihad Stadium, especially as he has been there long enough to see Kompany turn from a midfielder to a defender and Argentine Zabaleta reach 31 years of age.

Hart told Sky Sports: "I want to be here for as long as I can. I want to be remembered as someone who loved this club and loved playing for this club.

"I was here first, then Vinny came charging through the door and about two weeks later Zaba came.

"I was told they were both central midfielders! I've seen Zaba age, that's how long we've been together. But it's good that we've been together this long and I think we need to be here.

"We need to be a part of it. I think it's nice to have us as bedrocks."
