I don't move like Coutinho, I'm a Yorkshire geezer in mining boots! - Liverpool midfielder Milner

James Milner has stated that although he is not graceful like teammate Philippe Coutinho, he is more than happy just to contribute to the team.

Following a shaky start, Milner has gone on to establish himself as a key figure in the Liverpool squad this season after joining from Manchester City in the summer and the midfielder looks set to captain the Reds in their upcoming Europa League final against Sevilla on Wednesday night.

Ahead of the clash, Milner has admitted that he may not be as skilful a player as Brazilian ace Coutinho but is keen on contributing to Liverpool's cause in his own less-than-aesthetic manner.

Milner said: "It doesn't bother me, I just want to contribute to the team.

"I feel like I've been able to create chances for people.

"I probably don't move as gracefully as people like Phil (Coutinho).

"I'm a geezer in his mining boots from Yorkshire, lumping across the field! It might not always look pretty but as long as I'm contributing to the team that's the main thing."
