Scotland manager Craig Levein admits he would have West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison in his team over LA Galaxy ace Landon Donovan.
The former Everton loanee scored a hat-trick and had a hand in two other goals as USA hammered Scotland 5-1 in Florida on the weekend but the performance of the American did nothing to sway Levein's thoughts.
"It's tough taking on this type of team. Not just because they are above us in the rankings, but also because they are focused. For me that was a big factor.
"Come our next game we will be much better. I can only say we did what we could. It was nowhere near enough.""I'd take Morrison before Donovan every day of the week. We have a lot of good players who weren't available," he said.
