Shanghai SIPG striker Hulk has revealed what he told Oscar prior to the midfielder's move to the Chinese Super League club.

Oscar left Chelsea to join Shanghai in a £60million deal, worth£500,000 per week to the 25-year-old Brazilian.

Star attacker Hulk, who has been with SIPG since joining from Zenit St Petersburg last summer, said he convinced his compatriot to make the move to the Far East.

"I talked to Oscar about Shanghai SIPG before he made the move," he said.

"I said to him that Shanghai is a beautiful city, the club is fantastic and we will get even better in the coming years.

"I also said our team-mates are very friendly and welcoming, which makes me feel pretty good. After hearing what I told him, he came."
