Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez says he will carry out his task to the best of his ability before a decision is made on his future.
The Spaniard is likely to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer after temporarily taking the reins from Roberto Di Matteo in November but is looking to achieve as much success as he can by winning the Europa League and clinching a Champions League spot before he departs.
"I have to do my job until the end of the season and I will do it," Benitez said after today's 1-0 victory over champions Manchester United.
"I am a professional. I will try to concentrate on that. The other things are not my decision.
"When I came here I was convinced we could do really well.
"In January I was expecting some surprises but they didn't come so we have to carry on and keep working harder.
"We now just have to try to bring the best from our players."
