FC Dallas coach Schellas Hyndman expects big things from rookie striker Peri Marosevic in 2010. Marosevic's time with the first team was limited to just four games and a total of 47 minutes. He spent much of the season in and out of training with several trips to play for the U.S. under-20 national team, including a trek to Egypt to play in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in September.
Hyndman told mlsnet.com: "I think he's got a good nose for the goal. He's a good finisher.
"I think he has a lot of mobility on his runs and so forth. ... I think not having a reserve league or an opportunity to play hurt him. I think it also hurt him in the under-20s where he didn't get a lot of expected playing time. When I figured it all up, he played like 79 minutes all year and that's not even a game. So I think there's a lot more there than we need and a lot more he can give."
