Alan Hutton has admitted to an injury nightmare this season with Tottenham. The Scotland international has returned to training after a recurrence of a foot injury which has kept him sidelined since November.

"This season has been an absolute nightmare for me," the 24 year old told Sky Sports News.

"Obviously I was looking forward to the beginning of the season then to miss so much then come back and (for the injury) to reoccur and to feel it when I came back.

"So it's been a tough long season for me but I'm just glad to be back now and hopefully I can push on and do well."
