Stoke City defender Robert Huth has no regrets playing in the FA Cup final at not 100 per cent.
Huth now says there are no regrets about rushing back from the injury to re-claim his role at the heart of Stoke's defence for the final against Manchester City - when patently far from fully fit.
"I wasn't in the best shape I could have been," he acknowledged to The Sentinel.
"But there was no way I wouldn't have played, having played in every game prior to that.
"I would have been gutted not to play at Wembley. But the physios did a great job on me and they also flew me out to Spain for treatment.
"They got me into the stadium, and then it was always going to be the right decision to play."
