Stephen Hunt believes Scotland would benefit if coach Craig Levein ended his row with Wolves teammate Steven Fletcher.
It is understood there's been no reply as yet from Fletcher to Levein's recent statement that the door remains open for the former Hibs and Burnley player.
Hunt said: "I can't really comment on that. I don't know what has happened and I don't know the ins and outs.
"But I do know that Steven is a really good player. Fletcher for the last six or seven games at Wolves was absolutely fantastic - he scored vital goals for us.
"I do hope that one day maybe he can come back for Scotland because he is helluva good player."
