Hunt desperate for Wolves debut

Stephen Hunt is desperate to make his Wolves debut.

Unlike Michael Kightly, Hunt has been named in the 25-man squad that will see Wolves through to January.

And the Republic of Ireland international is relishing the opportunity to be involved in the first team set-up if his recovery goes to plan.

“The Newcastle game scared me to be honest,” he said. “I was talking to the gaffer that the pace of it was frightening but they are the kind of games that I enjoy and the lads have done well so far.

“I can’t wait to be involved.”
