Hunt can help us remain in top flight - Wolves' Henry

Wolves can remain in the Premier League this season with some help from Republic of Ireland winger Stephen Hunt.

They are the sentiments of club captain Karl Henry who feels that the former Reading and Hull City man can be a major influence in the remaining two matches of the season following his inspirational performance in the 3-1 home win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

"I think so," Henry told Express and Star when asked if Hunt had more to give.

"I've seen Stephen in training the last few weeks and he's really been putting it together.

"It takes a bit of time when you come to a new dressing room and things are different and you maybe doubt yourselves at times.

"Hunt is another player who I don't think has hit the form he would have liked. But recently he has looked like the player we knew he could be. So I'm really pleased for him.

"He was brilliant when he came on at Birmingham and he was fantastic on Sunday, tackling everyone who had the ball whether it was them or us!

"He just wanted that ball all the time."
