Humble pie for Ipswich boss Keane over Irish FA rant

Ipswich boss Roy Keane admits he may have been too harsh in his criticism of the Irish FA following the Republic of Ireland's World Cup exit. The former Manchester United star launched into a scathing tirade on the FAI following the Republic's exit from the World Cup at the hands of Thierry Henry's France.

Keane was criticised by a supporter at the club's AGM on Tuesday evening, to which he replied: "The comments were perhaps over the top and I apologise to any supporter I might have offended.

"I'm 38 years of age and I'm going to make mistakes."
